Does MailOver train AI on my email?

Short answer

No. MailOver never trains AI models on your email. Your mail is processed only to build your Action Items, Highlights, and FYIs, kept encrypted at rest, never sold, and never fed back into model training.

Your email is not training data

No. We never use your email to train AI models. Your inbox is yours, and it is not a dataset we mine to improve a model that other people will use. This is a firm policy, and it lines up with what we say everywhere else on the site.

So what does the AI actually do with your mail? It reads each incoming email to do one job: turn it into your Action Items, your Highlights, and your FYIs. That output is for you and your account alone. Once it has done that work, nothing about your message is retained to make the model smarter.

How your mail is handled instead

A few plain commitments sit underneath that policy:

Processed, then encrypted at rest
Your email is read to build your items, and the stored copy is encrypted so MailOver cannot read it later. See how that encryption works.
Never sold
We do not sell your data or hand your messages to advertisers.
Never fed back into model training
Your content does not become training data for us or for anyone else.

If you want certain mail to skip the AI entirely, you can set private senders and keywords so those messages are never processed at all. That is covered in Is my email private?
