Help/Billing & subscriptions/Where you're billed: Stripe, Apple, or Google

Where you're billed: Stripe, Apple, or Google

Short answer

Your subscription is billed wherever you started it. Web sign-ups are billed through Stripe; iOS sign-ups through your Apple ID; Android through Google Play. To change or cancel, use the same channel you signed up with, since each handles its own receipts, renewals, and refunds.

Check where you're billed

Your subscription is billed wherever you started it. If you signed up on the web, you pay through Stripe. If you subscribed inside the iPhone app, you pay through your Apple ID. If you subscribed inside the Android app, you pay through Google Play. MailOver shows you which one you are on so you never have to guess.

Open Settings, go to Subscription, and look at the Payment line. It names your provider: Stripe, Apple, or Google.

Manage it wherever you bought it

Each provider handles its own receipts, renewals, payment methods, and refunds, so you manage your subscription in the same place you bought it. Apple and Google subscriptions cannot be changed or cancelled from inside MailOver, since the store controls them.

  • Stripe (web): open Settings, go to Subscription, and select Manage Billing to open the Stripe portal.
  • Apple: manage it in the App Store under your name, then Subscriptions.
  • Google: manage it in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions.

For the step-by-step, see Cancel or change your subscription, Upgrade or downgrade your plan, and Find a receipt or invoice.
