Troubleshooting

Fixes for syncing, expired connections, an empty brief, and Action Items that look wrong or missing.

Syncing

Emails aren't syncing
New Gmail arrives in near-real-time, while Outlook and IMAP inboxes poll about every five minutes, so give it a moment. If nothing shows up, check the account is still connected and reconnect if it expired, then check you have not hit your daily processing cap or run out of credits, since processing pauses at zero. Private filters also skip some mail on purpose.
Gmail connection failed or expired
When Google asks you to sign in again, your connection has expired and just needs re-approving. Open Settings, go to Account, tap the Gmail account, and choose Reconnect, then approve access when Google prompts you. If it keeps failing, delete the account and add it again. You will not lose your synced data.

Brief & Action Items

I'm not getting my daily brief
Your daily brief is event-driven, so it only builds after the secretary processes fresh mail. No new processed email means no new brief. Also check you have not run out of credits, since processing pauses at zero, and that you are under your daily brief cap. Highlights are a Plus and up feature.
Action Items look wrong or missing
If an Action Item lands in the wrong place or goes missing, you can fix it directly. Edit the due date, category, or type, mark it complete, or ask your AI secretary in chat to recategorize it. The secretary learns from your corrections, and you can undo its recent actions. Emails caught by your private filters never produce items.
